Better explanation needed #1186

Regarding section 1.1, I could only add those entries editing the .target file directly, copy-and-pasting the example.

Trying to select the units using the Add button don’t show the spies as available items to select.

Why is that?

Thanks. I recently removed the usage of the UI, as I prefer to use the text editor. But I describe the usage of the UI now in the content chapter. https://learn.vogella.com/exercises/rich-client-platform/usage-and-purpose-of-the-target-platform-XiJAm should also be available in 30 mins or so.

In your case, I assume you have to remove the "Group by" flag to see the spies.

Does that solve your issue?

Oh, I figured out why I could not find the spies. When I did "Add Update Site" and then pointed to "releases/latest", I filtered for "spy" instead of "spies". Filtering for "spies" I could easily find the "Eclipse Plug-in Development Environment Spies" item. Thanks!
